Family Therapy
Family therapy at 3rd Wave Counseling provides a safe, supportive space for families to navigate conflict, strengthen relationships, and build healthier patterns together. We work with families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral struggles, or communication breakdowns. Using DBT-informed strategies, families learn emotional regulation, validation, and mindfulness skills that help everyone understand one another, manage intense emotions, and respond with compassion. Through this collaborative approach, family members can reconnect, resolve conflicts more effectively, and create a home environment that feels safer, more balanced, and more connected.
